Michael J Cohen, J.D.
Michael Cohen represents early stage and mid-market companies as well as venture, hedge, and private equity funds in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, financing transactions and general corporate and commercial matters at all stages of the corporate life cycle. Michael works closely with Brown Rudnick’s London office in counseling UK and European clients engaging in transactions involving U.S. concerns.
Ed Berger has more than 25 years of experience working with medical device, biotechnology and health services companies, dealing with reimbursement issues and other issues related to U.S. and international health care policy, corporate strategy development, and strategically sensitive corporate communications with government, investors and the media.
Kathleen C. Mitchell, MBA, MT/HT(ASCP)
Ms. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology specializing in Clinical Microbiology and Immunohistochemistry. She also holds a Master of Business Degree from Western New England University. She has spent most of her career working to develop patient safety awareness through identifying and implementing Quality Assurance and Quality Control platforms. After serving as Technical Director of Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, she was employed by Foundation Medicine as their Associate Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. She was instrumental in Foundation Medicine’s attaining their Massachusetts State License and CLIA certification.
